Start Summer Hop off right with a great local brew from the team at Heyday while you pick up your registration packs, meet up with all the local swing dancers and have your first boogie for the festival.

Running for the second time, join us the epic DJ battle which will see the best DJs New Zealand has to offer battle it out to be named the ultimate winner. With great prizes up for grabs and sweet swingin’ tunes, the first official dance for the Summer Hop will be sure to get you up and dancing all night.
DAY 2 – 31st December 2019

We’ll be popping bubbles with incredible live music to welcome in the New Year so put on your glad rags and dance your way into 2020 with style. Doors open at 8.30pm, the band starts at 9pm. A night of great dancing, music, special performances, and sparklers!
The Lindy Chorus will be performed en masse at 11:45pm for those who have learnt it!

The most anticipated event of the festival, you don’t want to miss this epic party with amazing music from the Dan Yeabsley Trio! Join the walking bus to the late-night venue where the dancing will continue into the early hours of the morning.

Join us at Oriental Bay for an afternoon relaxing and ice cream at the beach. There might be a Shim Sham or Jam Circle in the water!
